It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.
It's made from soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It comes in charcoal or oak and a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed with the legs securely clicking into place and the zips secure to ensure baby safety. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer service number should you have any problems.
The CoZee crib has all the features you'd think of in a crib for your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition, there is an inclines feature that can be used to assist babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine-washable, which is a necessity with all the dribble, vomit and snot that come with having a newborn!
The CoZee is an excellent choice if you want to keep your child close during their first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it can be converted into an actual bed. While it won't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. However, it comes with a lot of amazing features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure fit under any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and downwards with just a single push of a switch. This was a huge benefit in feedings at night because it meant they could reach into and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted by itself, too however it isn't recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will remain in place when it is attached correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you're breastfeeding and require frequent night feeds.
